The uses for a great set of kitchen shears are endless. I use mine to chop a salad (right over the bowl), snip herbs from the garden, cut up poultry, open stubborn packaging, arrange flowers, etc.
If you will be using them for as many tasks as I do, they must have one important feature. They must separate, for thorough cleaning. I had a hard time finding a decent, heavy duty pair, that could be disassembled for cleaning & didn't cost a fortune. But, I have the ones pictured here & they are great!
