Happy Weekend //

For me, I guess it's both!  I love game time grub...in fact, I took this photo a few weekends ago while we were watching the Giants play the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.  I'm not a huge football fan - as in, I'll watch it, but only when it's an exciting or important game and usually only when it involves local teams.  That pretty much goes for me and all sports.  However, both my boys are super into football - especially my older son, who plays football with his friends every single day of the year during school recess.  While watching a recent game with him I was blown away by how much he knew about the sport!  He was filling me in on every move, explaining every penalty and why it happened and was able to answer all my questions.  I was quite impressed!
For those of you who will be watching the Giants vs. Patriots as they duke it out tomorrow, I'm sharing some game time goodies I found around the Web this week...

It all sounds delicious. The pimento cheese bites sound amazing!! I guess living in the South can make someone a pimento cheese connoisseur. I adore your blog, btw.

I am not really a football fan and my husband is more of a futbol (aka soccer) fan...so, we're having a Dexter marathon and I'm making chicken wings. Even though we aren't watching the big game, I just can't miss out on that game day grub!

PS I think it's so cute that your son has such vast football knowledge!
